Knock, Knock, It's Time for Your Audit - This panel will discuss the procedures, expectations, and hot issues in DCAA audits and how they impact contract administration, alternative dispute resolution, and claims at the BCAs.
How Not to Get Spun Up at the Revolving Door and Other Current Conflicts of Interest Issues - The panelists will discuss ethical issues concerning personal conflicts of interest, the revolving door between Government and private industry, ABA screening rules applicable to Government Contracts attorneys, the new Administration's Ethics Pledge, and an update on pending changes.
Socio-Economic Requirements Under the Obama Administration - This panel will review requirements under the Recovery Act and some of the Administration's many other important initiatives to reform procurement law.
Luncheon - Speaker: RADM Kathleen Dussault, Director, Supply, Ordnance, and Logistics Operations, N41, Office of the Chief of Naval Operations, Department of the Navy, will discuss her recent assignment as Commander of the Joint Contracting Command Iraq/Afghanistan, headquartered in Baghdad, Iraq and with 18 regional offices throughout both theaters.
The Continuing Evolution of Contractors on the Battlefield: Iraq/Afghanistan and Beyond? - This panel will explore issues confronting contractors accompanying a force on the battlefield and emerging issues.
BCA Judges Panel - This panel of BCA judges will discuss practice before the Boards, with an emphasis on practical issues and procedures not expressly addressed by the rules of procedure, recent developments, trends, and hot issues in Board practice.
